1. How to Cancel
You can cancel your subscription at any time from Settings → Billing inside the application.
If you prefer, you can request cancellation by emailing info@tmadvisorsgroup.com from the address on file. We will confirm cancellation within one business day.
No phone call or contract review is required to cancel.
2. When Cancellation Takes Effect
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period.
Example: if you are on a monthly plan and cancel on the 10th day of a billing cycle, you keep access until the end of that month. Your card is not charged for the following month.
Annual plans: cancellation takes effect at the end of the 12-month period you have already paid.
3. Refund Policy
We do not provide refunds for partial months, unused time, or annual periods already paid. This is standard SaaS industry practice.
Exceptions: we will refund or credit when (a) we incorrectly charged you, (b) a Service outage prevented you from using a paid period materially (case-by-case), or (c) required by applicable consumer law.
To request a refund under (a) or (b), contact info@tmadvisorsgroup.com with the details.
4. Trial Cancellation
The 15-day free trial can be canceled any time before day 15 without being charged.
To cancel during the trial: Settings → Billing → Cancel. The subscription will be canceled immediately and your card will not be charged.
If you do not cancel before day 15, the first billing charge will be processed automatically on day 16.
5. Your Data After Cancellation
For 90 days after cancellation we keep your account data in a soft-deleted state. You can re-subscribe and recover access during this window.
After 90 days, personal information and operational data are permanently deleted. Financial transaction records may be retained up to 7 years to comply with tax and accounting regulations, after which they are securely destroyed.
You may request immediate deletion at any time via info@tmadvisorsgroup.com, subject to our legal retention obligations.
6. Data Export
Before canceling, we strongly encourage you to export your data: Settings → Billing → Export account data. We provide a downloadable archive containing your Chart of Accounts, transactions, invoices, customers, and projects in standard CSV / JSON formats.
Exports remain available for 90 days after cancellation.
7. Re-subscribing
Within 90 days of cancellation, signing back in with the same email automatically restores your account. You will be prompted to choose a plan and your card will be charged according to that plan.
After 90 days, signing up with the same email starts a fresh account with no historical data.
8. Plan Downgrades vs. Full Cancellation
If you only want to reduce your plan tier (e.g. from Business to Pro), use Settings → Billing → Change plan. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.
Cancellation, in contrast, ends your subscription entirely.
