How RunGrid works

From signing up to a real-time view of your business — in under 10 minutes.

1

Sign up + pick a plan

Sign up with an email address or your Google account, pick a plan, and start a 15-day free trial. A card is required so nothing stops working on day 16, but nothing is charged before then and you can cancel from inside the app at any point.

  • ✓Nothing charged until day 15 — cancel before then and you pay nothing.
  • ✓Change plan later without losing anything you have entered.
  • ✓Run several companies from one login on the Multi plan.

Connect your bank

Connect your bank through Plaid in a couple of clicks. Transactions arrive on their own from then on, and balances stay current without anyone exporting a statement. If you would rather not connect a bank, you can import a CSV or XLSX instead.

  • ✓RunGrid never sees your bank password — Plaid handles the login.
  • ✓Business credit cards often arrive as several accounts; tell RunGrid which belong together and the balance is counted once.
  • ✓Reconcile against the statement your bank actually issues, line by line.

AI categorizes for you

Runny reads each transaction and suggests where it belongs — and says so plainly when the obvious answer is the wrong one. Confirm with a click, or correct it once and Runny remembers how your business files that payee.

  • ✓It catches what a keyword rule cannot: a personal expense on the business card belongs in owner’s draws, not expenses.
  • ✓Correct it once and the next one is already right — the memory is your decisions, not a guess about them.
  • ✓Ask it anything in plain language, by keyboard or by voice, in English or Spanish.

Recommendation
3100 · Member's Draws
A haircut is a personal expense, not a business one. Filing it as an expense would overstate your deductions — it belongs in owner's draws.
⚠️ Not tax-deductible under IRC §162.
