Reports has them all with a line saying what each one answers. The ones people open most:
·Profit & Loss — did the business make money in this period.
·Balance Sheet — what it owns and owes on a date.
·Cash Flow — where cash actually went, which is not the same as profit.
·A/R aging — who owes you and for how long.
·A/P aging — who you owe.
·Sales by Customer, Expenses by Vendor — concentration. One customer at 60% of revenue is a risk, not an achievement.
·P&L by Project — which jobs actually made money.
·Cash Received (Drawer) — what the register took in, shift by shift.
·Budget vs Actuals, Sales Tax, Trial Balance, General Ledger, Journal.
Getting it out
Every report exports to CSV and Excel, prints to PDF, and can be emailed straight from its page.
Drilling in
Account names are clickable. Press one and you get the transactions behind the number, which is how you answer "why is this figure so high" without leaving the report.
Asking instead
For anything not on the list, ask Runny — "which customers have not bought since March" needs no report to exist.
